Annual Holocaust Memorial Lecture

HETI, in association with  UCD School of History, presents Sir Richard J Evans for this years Holocaust Memorial lecture.

Prof. Sir Richard J. Evans is one of the world’s leading historians of Nazi Germany and modern German history. He is the author of several acclaimed books, including In Defence of History, a three-volume history of the Third Reich, his account of the David Irving trial, Lying about Hitler, and, most recently, The Hitler Conspiracies. From 2008 to 2014 Evans was Regius Professor of History at Cambridge University, where he also led a research programme on conspiracy theories and their impact on democracy and was knighted in 2012 for services to scholarship.
